Greenmantle

An original 10x10 inch mixed media painting on canvas.

This piece has such an organic feel with its muted greens, whites and soft browns. It is reminiscent of ancient plaster, perhaps on a garden wall or crumbling statuary. Beads are sewn on with waxed linen thread, tucked into raised, curved niches.
