From The Fairy Book - A woman wearing a crown stands as though waving at swans flocking around her. This picture is an illustration for the tale, “The Six Swans.” The queen threw one of the shirts over each of them, and when the shirts touched their bodies, they were changed into swans, and flew away over the wood.
