I decided to do an impromptu art photoshoot this morning. Feeling lazy, I decided not to get out the professional gear, but use what I had around the studio. Luckily my studio windows and skylights provide plenty of daylight... no extra lighting required.
This fast set up was so easy to put together and it worked wonderfully. Cardboard, paper, binder clips and some flat boxes for raising the art - cheap too! Odds are you will already have these supplies on hand.
I did the shots with my iPhone 6. We are so lucky to have good cameras on our smart phones. No tripod, no fancy camera, yet beautiful, crisp images. It is so important to have high quality pictures of our art.
I would like to thank Tennyson for being my assistant this morning :)
And I would love to know how you set up for indoor art photoshoots. Feel free to leave a comment on this post or on my Holly Dean Artist Facebook page.
Here's to an artsy week ahead!
