Larry and I are off on a lovely road trip to the Agnes Jamieson Gallery in Minden this morning - over 3.5 hours from Merrickville. We are dropping off our art with Laurie Carmount who will be hanging our joint exhibit Ephemeral Impressions: Letterpress, Prints and Book Arts from the Studio at Greyweathers.
I'm excited about bringing my book arts pieces which include five new ones, inspired by my Wabi Sabi class. The show opens June 2 and runs to July 4. There is a vernissage on Thursday, June 4 at 4:30 pm which Larry and I will be at. Come and see us with our art if you are in the area!
I believe we all have a strong, basic need to explore and create. When we give ourselves permission to play, to be child-like again, we discover who we are. Magic is invited in.
