'WE HAVE BALLOONS", a painting inspired by my grandson, Aidan.
An evolution of layers.
On a recent visit with my sweet grandson, there was much cause for excitement. "We have balloons", he said. And off he went to get one, then asked his mom to blow it up. This was repeated many times with total delight. Ah, to experience the world through our joyful Aidan.
I believe we all have a strong, basic need to explore and create. When we give ourselves permission to play, to be child-like again, we discover who we are. Magic is invited in.
